An urban dance piece about the influence of mankind on planet earth.
The anthropocene (greek, „anthropos“ for "human") is an earthly epoch, in which humans now cause such profound changes on the earth that a new geological age - the human age, can be named after them. The human mankind has become one of the most important influencing factors on biological, geological and atmospheric processes on earth.
The artistic realization of this theme by the choreographer Valentin Alfery allows the dancers to define and shape their space for movement by means of different lamps from the everyday use. With the urban dance styles like breaking, locking, popping, hip-hop freestyle and house styles the "human natural force" dances across the stage.
Ein urbanes Tanzstück über den Einfluss des Menschen auf die Erde.
Das Anthropozän (griechisch, anthropos für „Mensch“) soll eine irdische Epoche umfassen, in welcher der Mensch mittlerweile derart tiefgreifende Veränderungen auf der Erde bewirkt, dass ein neues geologisches Zeitalter - das Menschenzeitalter, nach ihm zu benennen sei. Der Mensch ist zu einem der wichtigsten Einflussfaktoren auf die biologischen, geologischen und atmosphärischen Prozesse auf der Erde geworden.
Die künstlerische Umsetzung dieses Themas vom Choreographen Valentin Alfery lässt die Tänzer ihren Raum für Bewegung durch unterschiedliche Leuchtmittel aus dem Alltagsgebrauch definieren und formen. Mit Stilen aus der Hip-Hop-Kultur wie Breaking, Locking, Popping, Hip-Hop Freestyle und House tanzt die „Naturgewalt Mensch" über die Bühne.
